The testimonials below show just a handful of the comments we have received from the farmers we have taught since 2001. To read more, take a look at our newspaper which shares the experiences of 50 farmers who use homeopathy and may help dispel and explain some of the myths and misconceptions about the role and use of homeopathy in farming.  All of the farmers interviewed agreed that, in their experience, homeopathy worked; it reduced the incidence of illness, improved health and saved them money HAWL booksHAWL CoursesWelcome to WordPress. Lambing is the time when we use homeopathy the most frequently and to good effect”John Bale, Farm Manager with two dairy herds“Its a MASSIVE help, so to me its a win win situation. I see the health of the herd being good from its use, my feeling is that if it didn’t work I wouldn’t be wasting my money on it. We don’t spend so much on vets bills. Homoeopathy at Wellie Level (HAWL) is a tiny not-for-profit organisation whose only full-time member of staff is a volunteer, (founder, Chris Lees).  Our aim is to provide unbiased and qualified training and support to farmers who wish to learn homeopathy for use on their farms. We survive due to the goodwill and dedication of our volunteers and supporters, the generosity of benefactors, such as HRH the Prince of Wales, and the homeopathic pharmacies: Ainsworths, Freemans, Helios and Crossgates Bioenergetics, who kindly sponsor some of our course materials and offer discounts to HAWL farmers. WHY SUPPORT US? The simple answer is that farmers who use a homeopathic approach to animal health report that they use fewer antibiotics and drugs, which means safer milk and meat, and a healthier environment. Three quarters of all farmers who take the HAWL course are aiming to reduce antibiotic usage. A Simple Farm Repertory This is an easy to use, must-have for any stockperson whether they farm beef, dairy, sheep, pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens or even horses. It was written by the late Trevor Adams as part of the HAWL course and is based on his own experience as a homoeopathic vet in farm practice. Mastitis Later editions are entitled 'Udder Problems' as this is a Repertory and Materia Medica for lactating animals and the dairy herd offering the farmer greater detail in approaching problems around milk production generally. It was written by Jenny Grist RSHom, initially to help her own work on the family farm. Sheep Sheep is the work of three homoeopathic vets, all members of the HAWL teaching team, and all with considerable experience of helping farmers use homoeopathy in the day to day health management of their flocks.
